Ryan Richard (Comniption), though born in Sudbury Ontario, he currently lives in Echo Bay Ontario with his family. During his life time he's had many challenges and obstacles in his life when dealing with physical and mental abuse from his childhood as well he was a target for bullying due to his lack of confidence and fear.
Though Ryan was born at the St Josephs Hospital (now painted in rainbow colours), He has moved and lived in North Bay, Kirkland Lake, Timmins, Sturgeon Falls, Whitefish, Sudbury, Sault Ste Marie, and now Echo Bay. Ryan discovered hip hop/rap at the age of 10 in 2001 when the most iconic song produced by Eminem was out on the radio.
“I did not know hip hop or rap excited until I was 10 years old living in Sudbury listening to Eminem – Lose Yourself on the radio. After I heard him I would have a blank cassette tape in my music player read to record that song and along with it other songs from the other genres. I called it Ryan's Mix Hits!”
Ryan then explored other artists such as 2pac, Notorious B.I.G (Biggie Smalls), NWA (Ice Cube, Dr Dre, Eazy E, MC Ren), 50 cent, G-Unit and their members, and more! Ryan had his MP3 player setup in 2004 with all his favourite tracks from his favourite artists and other artists as well. The hip hop/rap genre helped him through all his struggles including the rough upbringing he had to endure as well he was inspired to rap himself until he was told that he will never amount to anything.
In 2008 Ryan moved to Sault Ste Marie to be closer to his oldest brother and his family. He began working at Mcdonalds in 2008 and went to Sutherland Global Services to work there in 2010. Ryan began getting more involved with friends when he met Ricky Macaloney at work and their friendship began at a call centre. Ryan and Ricky also went to College together in 2012 just after Ryan moved to live with his oldest brother in Echo Bay in 2011. July 16, 2016 Ryan went to Ricky's wedding where he would marry Amanda.
Ricky (Rick-E) Inspired Ryan now known as Comniption to begin his career as a hip hop/rap artist. Ryan learned how to freestyle rap and learn many writing techniques from Ricky (Rick-E) and later Kody (KODEX) and how to control pitch in his voice and his flow/style in each track. Ryan was welcomed by Ricky and Kody into FVKSXVAD and became a member of the loudest crew in Sault Ste Marie.
