SIMON SNOTFACE BOOK RELEASE FOR 'SENNIGHT OF THE SEVEN KINGS'

The streets of the upper levels were now empty, but not those of the lower ones. These were jammed with the homeless, those retreating from the flood, and those that defended their drowning hovels. Predatory gangs attacked the populace as opportunities presented themselves, the corpse eaters had their pick, and the bloodworms feasted. Now worse than all of them put together, the red flies led an assault upon the city and the surrounding lake. The hunter worms would also pay a heavy toll. Although they could remain beneath the surface for great lengths of time, they were set upon in ernest by the swarm when finally forced to come up for air. Chaos, panic, madness. These terms fit the southern shore line when a foot thick blanket of starving flies settled over a square mile, and began tearing into the population. The cry of misery from the city changed. Now it was the lamentations of the dying...
