Art Battle is back in Vancouver for the start of a new season!
WHAT IS ART BATTLE?
Art Battle is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to take the work home. Art Battle is excited to start this season in Vancouver with a new venue, Red Room in Gastown!
Art Battle events are held across Canada on a monthly basis. Congratulations to Laura McNeice for being the Vancouver champion and advancing to the National Championships held in Ottawa on July 16th! Let's see who this years champion will be!
