The Sista'Hood Celebration 2005 media and festival launch party brought to you by Monday Night Live, Camobear Records and Dreameyes Entertainment.

Featuring:
Belladonna
Accomplished poet, playwright, comedian, and emcee, Belladonna has played shows with hip-hop legends De La Soul, Public Enemy, Michee Mee. Poetically inspired, lyrically fierce, and unfailingly compassionate, this Toronto voice will not be silenced. Informed on historical precedents and issues of the day, her prevailing motive is a drive to communicate a message of hope and positivity.

Cristina Orbé
Cristina is a self-taught musician with her own simple rhythmic style. She has played Bumbershoot, The Crocodile, Vancouver International Hip-Hop Film Festival, Under the Volcano, Lo-Fi Performance Gallery, The Tractor Tavern, Town Hall and the NW Folklife Festival. She has peformed with Michael Franti, Blue Scholars, Saul Williams, Bill Frisell and Democracy Now's Amy Goodman.
