Event Description

A Festival of Art, Music, and Light on the West Shore
On September 24th, the West Shore Arts Council and Westhills proudly present Light Up the Hills, a family-friendly outdoor festival of music, art, performance, and light!

The event begins at Belmont High School – participants are encouraged to follow a pathway past illuminated art installations, music, and performers, using handmade lanterns to light the way. The lanterns will create a spectacular glowing effect throughout the community!

By registering in one of three lantern-making workshops on September 17th, 20th, or 21st, participants will be allowed access to the main stage area for live musical performances from the Victoria Conservatory of Music. The Lighthouse Academy of Dance will also present choreographed dance performances at Westhills Park.

Celebrate the creativity of local artists, musicians, and performers with your West Shore neighbours!
