Lulu Laru will be screening a selected handful of stories on video, from onmyplanet.ca's genderally.ca series at the FLUX Gallery at Media Net, 821 Fort St. Victoria, BC, on Wednesday evening May 8th, 2019, 7 PM.
Lulu has been collecting stories from everyone under the rainbow and the people that love us for The Queer Story Archive at onmyplanet.ca, since 2011. Onmyplanet.ca is a trans and queer positive website and now has over 135 stories in the archive. In 2018, onmyplanet.ca launched genderally.ca, a series of discussion-based workshops, developed in partnership with Artemis Place alternative high school. The workshops emanate from the personal experience stories at onmyplanet.ca and support trans, Two-Spirit and gender non-conforming inclusion. Lulu will be in attendance, Q&A is encouraged. Free admission, beverages by donation, Lulu will be passing the hat in support of onmyplanet.ca
