Event Description

Robed wizards of live techno, Righteous Rainbows of Togetherness are shedding their big beats honed in the festival circuit for a unique performance of ambient music in quadraphonic sound. This free all ages performance marks the launch of their forthcoming album Astrobiology, a dreamy floating journey through space and time.

Also performing is Fanfare aka Cam Boyce, a unique solo act with looper pedal, violin, and guitar alongside deep, soulful vocals and fresh beatbox beats. Originally from Edmonton, and now living in Qualicum Beach, Fanfare has explored music through his global travels and is an electro-folk hybrid of Otis Redding, Owen Pallett, and Klezmer.

DJ'd Music between sets by Dub Gnostic.

This event is free, all-ages and all are welcome! The event will run from 2:00pm to just before 6:00pm.

SET TIMES: 2:30pm Fanfare / 4:15pm Righteous Rainbows of Togetherness.

Wonderment is presented by the Garden City Electronic Music Society and would not be possible without the support of the The Province of British Columbia / BC Arts Council, the Capital Regional District, the City of Victoria, the Greater Victoria Public Library, Metropol Industries and Long & McQuade Music Instruments.
