The Oswego Hotel, nestled between James Bay and downtown, up from the Black Ball ferry entrance, is an upscale boutique hotel with a re-invented southern Italian restaurant. The elegant decor, lighting and refined menu go perfectly with jazz and a great cocktail. Chanteuse Angela Verbrugge sings with her swinging pianists from the funky lobby area while you dine surrounded by hanging plants, polished wood surfaces and large windows looking out the patio. Free parking underneath (request access at front desk), and no cover for music. The music is not too close or loud, allowing soft conversations and romantic dates.
