Event Description

Club Havana is back with a special edition, Pablo Cardenas & The West Coast Cuban Orchestra celebrate their last show of the year at Victoria Event Centre. A night full of surprises and high energy that will be their best event of 2021.

Club Havana is a night dedicated to the history of popular Cuban music, a tribute to so many legends of this Island like Enrique Jorrin, Arsenio Rodrigues, Miguel Matamoros, Celina Gonzales, Celia Cruz, Benny More and many more, a collage of genres and styles starting from the roots until the most modern music tendencies of this Island.

This is music that has rarely been heard around here, rural and traditional Son, Cha cha, Mambo, Rumba, Pilón, Changui, Conga, Salsa and more. The endless universe of sounds and rhythms. On this occasion Club Havana will include a section dedicated to Afro-Cuban music and Afro-Cuban jazz, with the special featuring of British clarinettist and saxophonist Rachel Cooper, as it is a special time of the year, some Cuban style Christmas classics will bring an extra spice to the evening.
