The Spire is very pleased to welcome “Whiskey Jack Presents Stories & Songs of Stompin’ Tom” to their 2024 program. The members of the band said to tell you, “we’re the real deal. No musicians in Canada have played more shows with Stompin’ Tom Connors than we have!” A fan recently described the show as a cross between Red Green and Vinyl Cafe. The humour and the charm is so Canadian it hurts. The band’s musical ride with Tom began in 1990 and included national tours, albums, TV appearances and many all night sessions filled with chess, songs and beer. You’ll hear all about it at this show.
