JG n’ the District is an event/party band from Calgary AB Canada who’s been getting the dance floor going in and around Calgary for over 10 years with an exciting and entertaining blend of danceable and recognizable songs spanning from 70’s Funk through Reggae and New Wave to 90s Soul and R n’ B right up to great hits of today.
As one of the hardest working bands in town, JG n’ the District is comprised of five talented and experienced musicians who blend a fun and accessible playlist with infectious grooves, compelling vocals and harmonies and a highly entertaining on stage energy that always leaves people impressed and feeling good.
JG n’ the District love to play music and it shows. Wether its weddings, corporate events, pubs, bars/lounge, restaurants or resorts, these seasoned and talented musicians put on a show that is both danceable and listenable but most importantly memorable so they are sure to satisfy everyone.
