Join us for the first annual Skeleton Park Neighbourhood-Wide Yard Sale & Block Party! A full day of second-hand treasures, live music, local food & drink, wellness, climate action, and community fun, all capped off with an outdoor movie in the park hosted by the Skeleton Park Arts Festival.
✨ Here’s how you can join in:
🛍️ Host a yard sale – Set up at your home (register your location -https://docs.google.com/.../1FAIpQLSc91ejXbMheQv.../viewform) or in the block-party hub (contact [email protected] to reserve your spot) and be part of the neighbourhood-wide treasure hunt.
🎁 Donate items – No space to sell? Contribute to the Elizabeth Fry Kingston collective sale table. Proceeds support women and families in our community. Donations of clothing, footwear, toys, books, bags, jewelry, sports equipment and small home decor items will be accepted at the following locations:
Wednesday, Sept 17, 5-7pm at 6 Patrick St
Thursday, Sept 18, 5-7pm at 6 Patrick St.
Friday, Sept 19, 8:30am-12:00pm at Elizabeth Fry, 127 Charles St.
Saturday, Sept 20, 9:00am-12pm at Elizabeth Fry, 127 Charles St.
🧘 Free yoga at Surf Shack – Stretch, breathe, and flow with a free class to start the day feeling grounded! Class at 2pm. QR code to register in comments below!
🎭 Catch the parade – Seniors for Climate Action Now! will lead a colourful climate parade through the neighbourhood.
🎶 Enjoy live music – The Goat Steppers in the park at 4pm. and don’t miss Carlos, performing on Charles Street at 5 PM.
🍴 Pop-Up at Daughters General Store – Featuring food by Knifey Spooney and drinks from Drink Finally.
☕️ Free drip coffee all afternoon at The Elm Cafe!
🎬 Movie in the park – Bring a blanket and enjoy a film under the stars at McBurney Park.
📣 Spread the word – Invite neighbours, friends, and family.
