A Night of Bowie - Shaw TV Nanaimo

After touring with the cover-band, Major Tom, Syl Thompson took a break. He resurrected the band last year and is realizing a dream of performing at the Port Theatre, where he worked as the first lightening technician they had.

Two of the other band members have strong ties to Nanaimo and the Port Theatre as well, with their mother being a key figure in the campaign that made the venue a reality.
