Traditional pop and jazz of the late 1930s and 1940s WW2 era - the songs of love and longing, playful flirting, and swingin’ distraction, performed by Angela Verbrugge and the In the Mood Quartet. This music defined a decade and uplifted hearts through dark wartime days. This Remembrance Day, join us to bob your head, tap your toe, reflect, and take a sombre moment to remember those who have lost and will lose their lives fighting for peace in a unique format. Songs from The Andrews Sisters, Glenn Miller, Benny Goodman, Vera Lynn and more like We’ll Meet Again, For All We Know, Bluebirds Over the White Cliffs of Dover, Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy, Don’t Under the Apple Tree and You’ll Never Know.
