JAMES AND THE BONDSMEN - Have You Ever Had The Blues - 1963

In 1963, Dennis Ferbey & his band The CJCA Pharaohs recorded with producer Vinny Trauth at Pepper Tanner Studios in Memphis TN. At the same time Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs had a hit record, Wooly Bully. So they had to change to James and the Bondsmen. At that time band members were; Dennis Ferbey bass/vocals, Bob Dann lead guitar, Dennis Nelson rhythm guitar, Tommy Doran drums, Don Fisher tenor sax/trombone, Al Vawter (McGee) tenor sax and Lorne Peet trumpet. Back up singers were The Dixi Bells.
