Featuring music from Sun Records, the Memphis label that introduced Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Howlin' Wolf, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, and Jerry Lee Lewis to the world.

As a teenager, David Vest learned these songs almost as soon as they were released -- songs like Mystery Train, Folsom Prison Blues, Howlin' for My Baby, Blue Suede Shoes, Ooby Dooby, Whole Lot of Shakin' Going On. He's been playing them ever since. He was there at the dawn of rock and roll, but he is definitely not an oldies act, considering that his latest recordings continue to top the blues charts. Rather than trying to re-create anything, he's still actively creating it.
