Stupid Dog from Mission: Alpha

Stupid me waiting again for you like a dog
Hoping you’ll notice me, hear me, like my song
Thought I could walk away anytime
But here I stand acting contrary to my lines

Took a lunge right from the heart
And at the beginning I thought that I got the part
But now I’m just a part of the scenery
Doing what I can hoping you’ll notice me

The bigger I puffed -- The smaller I felt
The more I changed – The more I blamed myself

Let me go.
Let me know.

Look outside see how the sun it shines
Here I sit locked away in time
As the shadows creep across the floor
Why can’t I get my lead feet out the door

Would I even feel the breeze on my face
Take a look around such a colourless place
I carry this deadness inside
That’s alright ‘cause I don’t like to hide

The bigger I puffed -- The smaller I felt
The more I changed – The more I blamed myself

Let me go.
Let me know.
