Lori Paul began performing with blues rock bands in the early ‘80s and by 1986, Paul opened for the legendary B.B.King and Tower of Power during Expo 86 and was also nominated Female Vocalist of the Year by the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences (CARAS). In 1998 she released of her first album, “Now Or Never”, a critically acclaimed collection of jazz, blues and originals. Her follow-up “Vanity Press” was released in 2005 and she recorded and filmed her 3rd album to DVD on “Songs From Spider Lodge”. Now Spiderlodge, Paul’s trio released “The Secret Language Of Birds” to absolute crickets as was her subsequent album "Mighty Fine Time" but that won't stop her from releasing yet another album in 2017! Lori Paul & Spiderlodge were nominated for Rock band of the year at the Fraser Valley Music Awards in 2016 but lost out to another obscure band no one's ever heard of. Go figure.
