The Freeze was a popular commercial rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, active around 1979-1982, featuring members like Brian King (vocals) and known for covers like Mott The Hoople's "All The Way from Memphis," appearing on CBC's "10:00 O'Clock" in 1981, and leaving a mark on the local scene with their lively performances. They would eventually move to Vancouver and changed the band name to Billboard Heroes.
