O Green is a country singer-songwriter from Tyendinaga, a town outside Kingston, Ontario. He got his start in music at a young age taking influence from the instruments that filled his home. “I feel my values, upbringing, and personal experiences have shaped my music, and allow for people to connect to it.”
Drawing inspiration from legends like George Strait, David Lee Murphy, and Merle Haggard, he delivers performances that are nostalgic and authentic.
His live shows are a crowd-pleasing mix of timeless country covers and original songs that speak to life experiences, family ties, the outdoors, and the simplicity of small-town living. Several of his original tracks have been released as singles, showcasing his talent for storytelling and his deep connection to the country music tradition.
Former Kingston broadcaster and Polaris Music Prize founder Steve Jordan brings a wide-open listening philosophy to new downtown music festival, September 12.
