Curtis Chaffey is a Canadian guitarist, songwriter, and co-founder of The Split, a powerhouse soul and blues outfit out of Ottawa. Alongside his brother Matthew Chaffey. He is also well known as the famous guitarist for Samantha Martin & Delta Sugar.
Curtis has spent years shaping a sound rooted in 60s soul, blues, and funk, blending vintage groove with a modern edge. Originally performing together in their earlier project, the Brothers Chaffey, the duo evolved into The Split in 2011, sharpening their focus on rhythm-driven, horn-infused soul music.
