New Stranger Blues Band

circa 1964 - circa 1965

I started out life as a bass player. Yeah, I had dabbled in guitar as a kid but uh, I had a washtub bass in a jug band before Blues By Five was formed. We had a jug band called New Stranger Blues Band. I played washtub bass, Norm played acoustic guitar, Ed sang and played acoustic guitar.
He could just pour it on.
