Made up of multi-instrumentalists Cameron Bird, James Cecil, Gus Franklin, Isobel Knowles, Jamie Mildren, Sam Perry, Tara Shackell, and Kellie Sutherland, this indie pop octet have been described as gently experimental. They have a musical arsenal bigger than their roster, and along with various approaches to vocal presentations, it’s no wonder they with a musical arsenal bigger than its roster. Analog synths, samplers, glockenspiel, tuba, clarinet and recorder along with drums, bass and guitar are just some of the elements that make up Architecture in Helsinki’s eclectic sound.
