Talented, fiery, and harmonically sophisticated, this Victoria quintet combines original compositions with an interest in classic post-hardbop composers like Woody Shaw and Lee Morgan. Headed up by James Young bass, this band of jazz veterans includes Jon Miller drums, George McFetridge piano, David Flello trumpet, and Roy Styffe alto/tenor saxophone.
