explaining colours to the blind is a vancouver indie rock band that has been playing around town for the past couple years. a wide range of influences that include math rockers like june of 44, indie rockers such as promise ring and joan of arc, shoe gazers like ride and my bloody valentine, and d.c. post hardcore, dismemberment plan, fugazi, have given us an ambient, hard hitting, noisy sound. it’s like pop math rock or dynamic indie. we are the nicest 4 people you ever met.
