The Celtic Kitchen Party

since 2010
Conjure up that down-home feeling!

Boasting a diversity of talent, The Celtic Kitchen Party plays a mix of their own Celtic-infused originals, as well as traditional and contemporary east coast, Irish and Scottish music, with just the right dash of pop and classic rock.

The name conjures up that down home feeling where all your relatives and neighbors drop by for a traditional kitchen party. This ensemble group brings a lively high energy performance to any venue for a night you and your guests are sure to remember.

"When a band titles itself something as definitive and iconic as The Celtic Kitchen Party, the feeling that you’re looking for is right there in the name, and it’s a testament to this crew that this is exactly what they deliver: a rousing good time that’s as infectious as it is endlessly fun."
~ Bytown Sound

All of the lads' energy and experience has culminated in a three album collection available in CD and digital through the band, and on all major platforms. These albums continue to be seated somewhere between original upbeat party tunes and beautiful storytelling to creative re-imaginings of traditional favourites.

The band is excited to announce the 2023 release of their Christmas Album titled "One Celtic Christmas".

Whether you choose to embark on a sleigh ride with our take on the timeless classic “Jingle Bells” (in the minor key) or be swept away by “The Christians and the Pagans” a narrative of love, acceptance, and the power of embracing one another's beliefs or are looking to straight out bear hug the unconventional - one thing will resonate – you’re already beginning to feel a little better since the music started.

Why not bring some humor into your holiday celebrations with “Drunken Santa” a spirited and irreverent twist on the traditional image of the jolly old man in the red suit. Prepare to burst into laughter with “Huge on the Luge” (originally released by Moxy Fruvous) a whimsical journey down a luge track like no other. Step into the humble manager with our resident bagpiper as your guide, and enjoy our twist on a classic with “Little Piper Boy”. Follow us into a serene and enchanting world with the “Huron Carol” a timeless gem of Canadian holiday tradition.

One thing is certain… the infectious energy of The Celtic Kitchen Party’s “One Celtic Christmas” has something for everyone.

Career highlights include; Iqaluit Humane Society fundraiser (NUNAVUT), 2017 Grey Cup Festival (Atlantic Schooners & Spirit of Edmonton), Brockville & Bath Tall Ships Festivals, Stirling Festival Theatre, The Perth Kilt Run, Fort Henry, Kingston RibFest and many of Ontario's Canadian Forces Bases.
