Bad Atlas is a solo electronic music project based out of Kingston, Ontario, created by Adam Chartrand (also of Voyager) at what is hopefully the tail end of the COVID-19 pandemic. His songs are a hybrid mix of hyperpop, EDM, alternative-hip hop and dubstep which is in contrast to the rock/folk music that seems abundant here in the Limestone City in recent years.
With lyrics about growing up, falling in and out of love and the feeling of hopelessness paired with dynamic and catchy melodies, the only way to describe the feeling you get when you listen is, “melancholy.”
