About

The Gamblers

Although the coming together of The Gamblers was a lengthy process, with various band names and members in and out of rotation, they are now a solid 8 piece ska/punk band from Trois'Rivires, Qubec who will be releasing their first full length, "Have You Ever Thought" with STOMP Records in April 2003.

The diverse musical influences constitute a definitive characteristic of the band's particular sound. As well as the ska, there are elements of genres like punk, reggae, indie rock, jazz, metal, swing and alternative that has had a decisive impact on the Gamblers' musical style. On top of this eclectic style, The Gamblers have a commitment to delivering these songs live with a ton of energy and emotion.

The Gamblers had the chance to perform with such acts as The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Goldfinger, The Planet Smashers, Subb, Flashlight Brown, Big D and the Kids Table, Mustard Plug, The Gadjits, King Django, The Peacocks, Guttermouth, The Kingpins, Vnus 3, Vulgaires Machins, General Rudie, Spleen!?, Alaska, The Cartel, Life-Styles, The Couch Addiction and many others. Also, the band had been on many compilations as well as putting out their first EP album which is now sold out. And this is just the beginning; the future will be nothing but brilliant for this energetic and innovative ska band.
