Jeff J Gaulton has been a Canadian independent singer/songwriter and recording artist since the early 1990's. His musical journey began in the classic rock/hard rock genre. Playing for several years in the Kingston band AfterGlow gave Jeff extensive stage experience. During his time with AfterGlow the band released two indie projects, and the rock trio disbanded in 2003.
As the band folded Jeff's musical tastes began to change and he started writing for his solo acoustic debut which he released in 2004 and consisted of fifteen original songs. Jeff continued to venture as a blues, roots and rock solo acoustic artist and had the good fortune to receive airplay throughout Ontario. As a side project Jeff fronted the Kingston cover band Boneyard Doggz from 2006-2011.
In October 2011 the Jeff J Gaulton Trio was formed which brought a unique sound and vibe to blues and roots listeners. A five song original EP was recorded and released in the summer of 2012, entitled Travel On. The trio ended in the spring of 2013. Since then Jeff has returned as a solo acoustic performer and singer/songwriter with renewed energy. Jeff has over 25 years of stage experience and his passion for the music is evident in every raw and emotional performance. Along with his original material Jeff includes respectable covers of Delta Blues, Heartland Rock and Canadian influenced Roots music.
