Oscar Evans is a multi-instrumental musician based out of Kingston. He plays trumpet and bass professionally. On trumpet, Oscar favours traditional styles of jazz and blues, and is also experienced and passionate about playing other forms of jazz. He focuses on contemporary styles when he is playing upright and electric bass.

On bass, Oscar leads the Oscar Evans Quartet and plays in local bands including the Mourning Doves and Frank Ryan Band.

On trumpet, Oscar performs with the Ottawa-based band Odd Fellows Orchestra and the Kingston-based trad-jazz/parade band The Goat Steppers.
