Ben Mahony

Ben Mahony can slide into intensely energetic modern rock or wax softly on a 12-string acoustic guitar It all depends on the audience in question and the feel of the venue. His recordings feature catchy post-punk pop tunes and lyrics tinged with sadness, political awareness and the absurd. Mahony was recently featured on CKRW AM in Whitehorse as the Yukon artist of the day. He will perform with his band for YukonFest and the line up features Derek Wyatt on bass guitar and Lonnie Powell on drums.
