since 1986
Ontario’s oldest brew pub.
This Kingston treasure has been making beer, wines, and ciders on its downtown premises since 1986. A large collection of beer memorabilia and pub photos decorates the 1800’s-era brick and stone building. Visitors can unwind outside on their street front and courtyard patios with a cold pint during the warm summer months.
Food is pub standard with unique twists and beer used in many of the recipes. A courtyard and street-front patio, as well as a banquet room (known as the Dragon's Lair), makes this pub a must visit.
A large collection of beer memorabilia will also keep your eyes busy for days and inspire more than a few conversations. The building itself is an 1800's-era brick and stone — originally used as a telegraph office — and the original vaults are still in use.
Two patios!
The street front patio allows you to watch the world go by with a view of Lake Ontario. The cozy courtyard patio offers more privacy through the carriage way with an abundance of plants and flowers complete with rock and water features and water spouting dragons (not fire breathing). A must visit.
