Austen Sorochak

I completed a hands-on Recording Arts diploma at TARA in Toronto in 2008, where I gained experience recording demos for blues and indie metal bands. It’s been a while since I worked in studio settings, so I'd love to refresh my skills, learn live sound, and support local events. I'm interested in helping all-ages and grassroots shows thrive by contributing behind the scenes and learning from experienced techs.

In addition, I’ve been taking photos for most of my life and have professional camera gear. I recently photographed an event at the Downbeat event centre and enjoy documenting live music and community gatherings.
