La Société francophone de Victoria (or SFV, translated as The Francophone Society of Victoria) is a not-for-profit membership organization which promotes, represents, and advocates for the French language and francophone culture in the Greater Victoria region. The SFV offers services responding to the needs and interests of its members, including employment preparation, job search assistance, and settlement assistance. Additionally, the Society serves as a gathering place for the francophone community, coordinates French-language events (including a francophone festival and a Christmas celebration), and participates in other community events such as the Victoria Day parade.
