On the night of Saturday, May 6, 2017, local band Everhawk will headline a special private charity event for "Soap for Hope", a fantastic organization which collects hygiene projects to distribute to shelters for the abused or homeless. Opening for Everhawk is another local band, Mother Trucker.
This special, one-off event will take place at Fort Tectoria, 777 Fort Street. Doors open at 7:30 PM. Mother Trucker will begin playing at 8:30, followed by Everhawk at 9:45. A licensed bar inside the venue will sell alcoholic beverages, all the proceeds of which (minus expenses) will also go to "Soap For Hope". Tickets are projected to sell fast so buy yours today.
Everhawk - fronted by a mysterious mountain man named Wildwood McRae - combines Skynyrd-style classic rock riffs with a touch of bluegrass and First Nations rhythms. And the downhome blues-rock of Mother Trucker will set the mood perfectly.
Door Opens @7:30
Tickets: $20; $25 at the door; limited engagement.
