The Funk Hunters

The Funk Hunters, DJs Nick Middleton (founder of Westwood Recordings) and Duncan Smith, combine an ingenious technical display with electronic music influenced by old school funk, soul, and hip-hop. The Funk Hunters consistently play to the world’s biggest dance floors, and will bring the party to “Get Funk’d at Phillips Backyard.

Moontricks

Kootenay-based Moontricks (Westwood Recordings), Nathan Gurley and Sean Rodman, blaze their own trail, merging musical worlds and capturing audiences along the way. Feeling just as at home on an electronic festival stage one weekend and a folk festival the next, they have birthed an authentic sound infusing grassroots blues, wistful soul, and gritty, boot­stomping bass.
