Brenda’s rich, melodic voice, which has been compared to that of Dusty Springfield and Julie London, envelops the listener in waves of rhythm, color, feeling and melody. Intimate and intensely focused, she draws you into each musical moment. On jazz flute, Brenda lets loose with staccato, percussive rhythmic changes and her freestyle is reminiscent of Herbie Mann and Ian Anderson of (Jethro Tull).
Brenda is a recording artist and multi-instrumentalist who has toured extensively in North America and Asia. She performed with Juno Award artist PJ Perry, Amos Garrett, Brian Hughes and Ian Tyson. Her collaborations with Chet McCracken, the Grammy-nominated, platinum-2 time gold drummer, resulted in the release of two albums: “After the Rain” and “Through Brenda’s Eyes”. Brenda performed with bassist Ben Tucker, known for his hit song ”Comin’ Home Baby '' and recording of “Fever” with Peggy Lee. And toured with Nancy Sinatra, including a performance at Dodger Stadium’s with an audience of 50,000.
