On Southern Vancouver Island, there are many talented artists and craft persons who have been adversely affected by the closure of public venues due to Covid-19 in the last three years. Now is the time to support your local talent by finding that perfect piece for your home, something to wear, or the perfect gift.
The 2023 Summer Homestead Series will take place on July 16th and August 12th at Caleb Pike Heritage Park in the Highlands. This event offers an opportunity to reminisce about days of the past when craftspeople ran the economy by making their own clothing, soap, hand-forged steel, jewelry, carvings, woodwork, and more. The heritage location is nestled between giant fir trees just north of Bear Mountain and North Langford, making it a beautiful and serene location for the market.
We are excited to host this market in such a stunning location and support the local artists and craftspeople.
