Event Description
The Faculty of Humanities, and the Departments of English, French and Francophone Studies, and Hispanic and Italian Studies at UVic present a "Night of Sonnets". Come hear a selection of beloved, inspiring, and intriguing sonnets in English, French, Spanish and Italian.
This is not a class or lecture, but a multilingual poetry reading event.
Sonnets will be read in their original language, followed by their English versions. The texts will be available on paper and via a QR code.
