We start the season off with a terrific co-bill featuring the dynamic duo The Weber Brothers and Kingston audience favourite Peter Katz. The Weber Brothers are a hugely entertaining pair of roots-rock musicians who always put on a wonderfully energetic show. The late great Ronnie Hawkins, who was their mentor, is famously quoted as saying "If I had the Weber Brothers in my band in 1952 Elvis would have been my roadie."
The other half of the concert is one of the most engaging musicians touring right now, Peter Katz. He is a masterful performer, someone who will move you to tears and make you laugh in the same song. The CBC's Tom Power says of Peter's album The Reckoning..."one of the most heartfelt, beautiful and vulnerable records of the year. The new Peter Katz is an astonishing record.”
