The sound of Nova Scotia. Capella Regalis Choirs presents a rich and varied concert program of sacred and secular anthems featuring repertoire from their latest album Songs of the Sea with choir, organ, piano and percussion.
Expect a feast for the ears showcasing a Halifax-based choral ensemble performing a range of repertoire from Gregorian Chant to sea shanties. Bringing together sacred pieces of the choral canon with fresh arrangements of traditional folk songs from around the world by multi-Grammy Award-winning Canadian composer and keyboardist Paul Halley, this concert offers a mix of classical and distinctly Maritime music which is sure to delight!
This concert is part of Capella Regalis’s 10-day performance tour of Quebec and Ontario, their first-ever tour outside of the Maritimes.
