A skillful and inspired performer on both alto sax and clarinet, Silke Eberhard is a probing jazz sophisticate very much in the direct lineage of post-bop masters such as Dolphy, Mingus, and Monk. A leading figure in the Berlin jazz scene for over a decade, the award-winning Eberhard has performed and recorded with such noted European and American jazz stars as Ulrich Gumpert and David Liebman. She will be playing her post-bop compositions with her longtime trio, consisting of Jan Roder bass and Kay Lübke drums.
