Event Description

Vinyl Envy is very proud to present another All Ages live-show featuring the very talented:

Ashton Bachman (Salt Spring Island, BC)
https://www.facebook.com/ashtonbachmanmusic/
Ashton Bachman is a diverse multi-instrumentalist extraordinarily skilled at songwriting, guitar, percussion and vocals. His lyrics come straight from the basement of the soul. His songwriting is powerful, sensual and moody providing a rare and cozy intimacy. He has a remarkable control over his vocal chords, treating them like a percussive instrument. He also happens to be wildly skilled at percussive instruments (he started drumming at age 5), and often plays his acoustic guitar with a percussive technique popularized by internet sensations Andy McKee and Jon Gomm, making for rich sonic landscape. Ashton grew up in a musical family and has always had an affinity for the art as his grandfather is the Canadian legend Randy Bachman, his father the superbly talented Tal Bachman.

*** UPDATE: Corduroy (Samuel Wells) unfortunately can't make it to this gig ~

Filling in for Corduroy is Devil Woman (Lo Waight) performing a unique solo set~ Lo's songwriting blends modern sensibility with a vintage-retro aesthetic interwoven into beautiful folk songs, we're very stoked to welcome them back~

and
TWIN (Winnipeg, MB)
https://twintwa.bandcamp.com
For the past 10 years, TWIN has been revealing their Hypno-Folk across North America all the while land-marking an international canoe tour concert series. With 4 full length albums, a strong back catalog of river docs, ep's, live videos TWIN is always growing, sharing song and stories of the places they've been to the places they go.
