LES SEANTISTES, a project that could only be born in Vancouver. The last place left in North America that can still lay claim to being a true laboratory city. Thirty-five men and women of every race, standing shoulder to shoulder, blending their voices into awe-inspiring harmony. They are backed by a crack team of musicians that can, upon occasion, include a full mariachi orchestra and/or sitar and tabla drums for their special Bhangara set.
ALEX ALEGRIA with his Mariachi - Alex Alegría was born in Tuxtepec, Oaxaca in southern México. In honor of his Aztec heritage he delved into his musical roots and plays traditional Rancheras, Boleros and ballads.
