The Mackay Brothers

The Mackay Brothers, Jim and Keith, was a country music duo from the Sault. They toured with Gary Buck and played with Fred Kent and the Northernaires-a top notch country band who had a regular weekly show on CJIC television hosted by DJ Don Ramsay. They were accomplished musicians and songwriters. They have written "Suit of Sorrow" and "Nighthawk" among others on their album "The Mackay Brothers-Bye Bye Love". Jim Mackay (bass/vocals), Keith Mackay (guitar/vocals); Musicians playing on their album were Gary Buck (bass), Neil Flanz (pedal steel), Bill Bartlett (percussion), Rolly Chambers (rhythm guitar), James Milne (drums), producer (Ben Weatherly). Recording: "Bye Bye Love"
